So, I just have to make this one small post because of how ridiculous I felt this morning. My dad and I had planned to make and can marinara sauce today, and it had to be early in the am (9) as they were going to a Christmas concert at 11:30....
I put everything in the car, pot, apron, snackies, water, stewed tomatoes from my garden, new jars, lids.... and then, as I was 5 minutes from their house I realized I left the three HUGE cans of tomato sauce that I had bought to make my sauce with. If I didn't live 30 minutes from their house I would have driven home and picked them up. So, instead of making my sauce today, I watched my dad finish and can his.
I now have a project to do on my own... not as entertaining, but at least I won't forget anything. Sigh.
